Ark 11 is designed to float in inland waterways, this is a unique vessel allowing one to live on the banks of the Shannon without all the planning restrictions, but with the comforts of a home.

The accommodation comprises of 2 no. large ensuite bedrooms with vertical walls and ceiling height of 2.2 m. Two windows each, one of which is escape hatch and the other is dimensions 1200 x 2.2m high.

Living/dining/kitchen, Again a large floor to ceiling picture window and Atrium in living area. A large floor to ceiling patio door provides access to sunbathing area of 4.8m x 2.7m and gives a panoramic view outdoors from any position in living area. The sundeck is surrounded for wind shelter and safety by a glass wall 1100mm high with a glass entrance gate.

A board walk is attached to both sides and rear. 2 no. storage lockers are fitted on front deck.

Heating is provided with a combi-gas boiler for your underfloor heating and hot water. Due to design and insulation this Ark is amazingly easily heated.

Fully fitted kitchen and essentials are provided.

Toilets are standard domestic flushable bowls which are discharged into a holding tank by means of 2 no. Sani-flo macerators.

All electrics are 220v and fed by shore power.

Her floatation tanks are 5 no steel tanks 1.2m deep with .250mm Freeboard.

Tanks are primed painted internal and external and antifouled on external.

A robust chassis/skeleton of 205x100mm RSJ steel galvanised.

Walls, studs and roof are a steel frame to ensure no flexing of same.

External walls are W/P 18mm ply, waterproof/breathable membrane and sheeted with treated T and G 22mm Siberian Larch. Entire roof is made of treated 4 mm steel.

Internal walls are treat timber stud, skimmed plasterboard. Floor, walls and ceiling are insulated to a high standard.

The Ark is currently berthed at Tara Marina and is ready to be transferred to her new berth on the Shannon
