The Tarmon Harbour Marina was developed in 2006, a 90 berth Marina with boat slipway. Developed to compliment the surrounding town houses and the original banks of the Shannon and impressive lock. The Marina is just 2 mins walk from the shops and pubs.
Tarmonbarry is popular village on the River Shannon between counties Longford and Roscommon along the N5 Dublin / Westport Road. It is just over an hours drive from the M50 and 10 mins from Longford Town.
A small village with big hospitality. Keenans boutique hotel & gastro pub is well known and loved. The Purple Onion specialises in fine dining along with it’s gourmet foods shop and Art Gallery. The village also has a modern Petrol station & supermarket, crèche, national schools etc. nearby.
Clondra village is just a 5 min cycle away, with the Royal Canal Harbour and green way cycle path that follows the Royal Canal all the way to Dublin.
There is a separate service charge for the berth of €290 p.a (2025) to currently include power, water and light facilities and maintenance of the floating Jettys.
