Take the N56 north from Letterkenny towards the village of Kilmacrennan. Shortly before Termon and after passing the Lagoon Public House on the left, take the R255 towards Glenveagh National Park. Bear right onto the R251 passing the entrance to the national park. Continue for a further 15km passing two lay by’s on the left, from which there are magnificent views. Shortly afterwards take the first road on the left, which doubles sharply backwards and which is signposted “Poisoned Glen”.
