What is Prime?
Prime is a simplified way to boost your property listings across PropertyPal.
It replaces previous upgrades (Featured & Premier) with 3 clear upgrade options designed to maximise visibility when your property first goes live on PropertyPal.
There are now three simple upgrade options:
Prime Perks:
Prime Promotional Pricing: Sales
Prime Promotional Pricing: Rentals
All Prime Listings run for 90 days for sales & 45 days for rentals, then automatically revert to Standard. You or the vendor can choose to renew or extend the Prime upgrade at any time.
How Ranking Works
Gold Prime adverts appear above Silver, Silver above Bronze and Bronze above Standard, with the most recently purchased Prime advert showing at the top within each section.
What this means:
• Fair and transparent rankings that reflect both listing tier and when a Prime order was purchased
• Relevant for buyers and keeps search results fresh and useful
• Upgrading to Prime when a listing first goes live maximises visibility during the period of highest buyer interest
Why Timing Matters
Buyer activity is highest when a property first goes live.
Upgrading to Prime at launch:
• Maximises early exposure
• Builds momentum faster
• Keeps your listing higher during peak interest
• Prime can be added later but early upgrades perform best
Rebate - How It Works
Agents on a Membership Plan automatically earn a 20% rebate when a vendor upgrades directly through the PropertyPal website.
This ensures agents are rewarded when vendors invest in enhanced visibility for their property.
Rebate applies when:
• A vendor purchases a Prime upgrade directly
• An agent purchases a Prime upgrade on behalf of a vendor and confirms it is vendor funded
When you choose to purchase a Silver or Gold Prime advert on behalf of a vendor, we’ll simply ask you to confirm that the cost is being passed on to the property owner.
This helps keep everything transparent and ensures the correct rebate is applied. As part of this, you’ll also be confirming that the vendor is aware you may receive a rebate from PropertyPal in connection with the purchase.
To complete the upgrade, you’ll just need to provide:
• Vendor name
• Vendor email address
These details are required so we can keep the process clear and fully transparent for everyone involved.
How agents receive their rebate:
• The credit is applied automatically to your PropertyPal account
• Credit is instantly visible within your CRM account balance
• A clear record of all credit activity appears on your account dashboard

Additional information:
• The maximum credit balance that can be held at any time is £250. Once credit is used, your account can continue earning new rebates up to the £250 cap again
• The credit does not expire while you remain on a Membership Plan and actively use your account
• The credit is applicable for member agents only
Vendor Access: NEW My Property Dashboard
Your vendor can now track their property’s performance through a new “My Property” Dashboard if they have created a PropertyPal account. The dashboard provides clear visibility of listing performance, giving vendors an easy way to stay informed about their property stats on PropertyPal.
If you need to add the vendor’s email address to enable access, this can be done at any time through the Enhanced Order Detail page in your CRM.
These emails are sent by you via your CRM, allowing you to further boost exposure and engagement. These emails are pre-built with your branding already applied. Vendors cannot send these emails themselves, giving you full control to send at the right moment with minimal effort.

Please note, you will receive an email letting you know when your vendor has independently upgraded their listing to a Prime advert.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to use Prime listings?
No. Prime is completely optional. It’s designed to support you and your vendor by providing enhanced visibility for your listings.
How long does Prime last?
Each Prime upgrade lasts for 90 days for sales and 45 days for rentals. After that, the listing automatically returns to Standard placement. You or the vendor can choose to renew or extend the upgrade at any time.
Can vendors upgrade themselves?
Yes. Vendors can upgrade directly through our website, with your agency branding always visible. When they do, you’ll receive a 20% rebate (if on a Membership Plan), issued to your account to use against invoices or future advertising.
Will Prime listings push everything else down permanently?
No. Prime listings appear above Standard listings based on tier (Gold, Silver, Bronze), but relevance and listing age still apply. Upgrades last 90 days for Sales & 45 days for Rentals, after which listings return to Standard placement.
Where does Prime appear?
Prime listings appear exclusively on PropertyPal. Prime was developed specifically for the PropertyPal platform to maximise listing visibility and engagement with Northern Ireland’s largest property search audience.
When do I receive the rebate?
You’ll receive a 20% rebate automatically when a vendor upgrades their listing to a Silver or Gold directly on PropertyPal.
Can all agents use Prime adverts?
Yes. All authorised agents can use Prime adverts. However, commercial credit is only available if you’re on a Membership Plan.
How can the rebate be used?
Your credit is automatically issued to your PropertyPal account and can be used toward future Prime ads or against invoices.
Is there a limit to how much rebate credit I can hold?
Yes. The maximum balance is £250 at any one time. Once used, you can continue to earn new credit up to this limit.
Does the commercial credit expire?
No. Your credit will remain active while you stay on a Membership Plan and continue to use your account. If you move to Pay-Per-Listing, any remaining balance will be cleared.
How will I know when the rebate has been applied?
Your CRM dashboard shows all rebate activity clearly.
Where do I upgrade to Prime?
You can upgrade via your CRM or by visiting:
www.propertypal.net/products/estate-agents/prime
Can buyers still control how they view listings?
Yes. Buyers can sort by “Recently Added,” which shows listings in the order they were published.
How can vendors view their listing performance?
Vendors can access their property stats through the “My Home” section of their PropertyPal account, including views and engagement data.
How can I give my vendor access to their property stats?
You can give your vendor access by adding their email address via the Enhanced Order Detail page in your CRM. Once added, they can log in to their PropertyPal account and view performance insights, including views and engagement, in the “My Home” dashboard.
Who can send the promotional Gold listing emails?
Only agents can send the Showcase and Open Viewing emails via your CRM. Vendors cannot send these themselves.
Do I need to create the Gold listing emails?
No. The emails are pre-built in your CRM with your branding already applied. All you need to do is select the time of issue.
When should I send the Gold listing emails?
You can choose the best time to send, for example:
• When the property goes live
• Before an open viewing
• To re-engage buyer interest
Who receives these emails?
Emails are sent to active buyers searching in relevant areas, helping your listing reach an engaged audience.
Will I be notified if a vendor upgrades to Prime themselves?
Yes. You’ll receive an email notification when Prime has been purchased for your property.
Does Prime work?
Yes. Prime increases your listing’s visibility within search results, helping it stand out to more buyers and generate more enquiries. Enhanced listings have historically delivered up to 80% more enquiries compared to standard listings.
