acres of mature grounds just 25 minutes from the Giant's Causeway or 20

minutes from Royal Portrush Golf Club. Although it offers a sanctuary away

from the hustle & bustle, only 5 minutes from Coleraine

town and all amenities. Restored over the past 20 years, it has retained

almost all of its original features. Relax and enjoy this spacious  Georgian country house with large open fires, generous Irish hospitality and home cooked locally sourced food.

 

All accommodation includes breakfast. We offer freshly made  local produce  including a  hot traditional Ulster cooked breakfast,(local butchers sausages, Clontalkilty black pudding, home made potato bread  paired with local bacon and delicious accompliments)  Vegan & Vegetarian alternatives available.

SUPERIOR KING ROOM SLEEPS 2  OR DOUBLES AS A FAMILY ROOM   - SLEEPS 3 persons , PLUS CHILD UNDER 2yrs WITH POCKET SPRUNG FOLDING BED AND BABY  TRAVEL COT ADDED. (Ideal for a couple  or family travelling with 1 child/teenager and child under 2) discounted rate for 2 persons.

SUPERKING SIZE BED and an added pocket sprung folding bed, baby cot added at no extra expense -  large bathroom/dressing room/roll top bath & combined shower.

 This is a well proportioned room (200sq ft) with a traditional fireplace and hand made super king size brass bedstead. The simple décor with antique furniture, painted wooden floorboards and rugs, offers a shabby chic impression, whilst the Egyptian cotton sheets and comfortable bed offer a touch of luxury. A bathroom/dressing room is en-suite (100sq ft)   and contains a roll top bath with combined shower in addition to dressing facilities and an easy chair.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, tv and wifi.

Complimentary tea and scones or cake will be served for guests arriving.

 

GARDEN VIEW KING FOUR POSTER BED sleeps 2 with  ensuite bathroom/walk -in shower.

This is modest sized, but romantic room with a king size four poster bed. Lovely views over the countryside through the trees adds to the experience… The en-suite  bathroom (60sq ft) offers a beautiful shower, basin and high flush loo . Painted floor boards with loose rugs, antique furniture and the four poster bed, all make for a more individual feel. Egyptian cotton sheets add a little luxury.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, tv and wifi.

Complimentary  tea with scones or cake will be served for guests arriving before 4pm.

 

FAMILY ROOM (GARDEN VIEW ROOM) SLEEPS 4 WITH

  PRIVATE  EXTERNAL BATHROOM 

 

This room comprises of  1 king size bed and  2 single beds in one room. (250 sq ft) It is a large room with a chest of drawers and cupboard, side tables and bedside lamps. A new TV has just been installed.Painted floor boards and loose rugs -  very much geared to a family or group who are happy to share the room and enjoy good value for money. An external ,private bathroom is available with this room and has  a separate shower and an original roll top bath .The bathroom is for exclusive use of Bay Tree guests. When this house was built there  were not many bathrooms connected to the bedrooms.

This room has a view over the north side of the house with lovely trees all around and also over the yard & garden and is often flooded with morning sun.

Tea and coffee making facilities available.

For those arriving before 4 .00pm, complimentary tea and scones  or cake will be served .

THE OLD SCULLERY (STUDIO

This is a self contained studio with a separate entrance.. It  has a twin room  with  2 x 3ft 6" single beds in a room with a lovely fireplace, tv and room to relax.

There is a small kitchen which is great for the longer term traveller as you can wash your clothes  - heat up  some dinner or make a picnic lunch - have a bottle of wine in the fridge. Breakfast is in the dining room - just a shor t walk from the room.  The bathroom is off the kitchen and all self contained.
