Additional Information

Carrie’s Cottage is a traditional stone-built cottage with it’s own grounds in the most stunning setting, in the heart of the beautiful Dunloughan area. The 2-bedroom cottage sits on alovely site and enjoys wonderful lake views. The beautiful Dunloughan beach is a short stroll from the house-a beach renowned for its rugged beauty and crystal clear waters. Behind the beaches are extensive sand dunes and open grassland. Another stroll takes you over the sand to the islands at Pollreavagh or to watch the fishing boats at the Quay.

The cottage is decorated in a rustic style, with many traditional attributes throughout. The living room features a traditional stone fireplace, built from local stone. It is the perfect place to picture yourself, relaxing by the glowing open fire, enjoying a pot of tea or a warming hot whiskey, perhaps engrossed in a book, or whiling away the time looking out at beautiful views. There is a separate kitchen area and bathroom, complete with bath and shower attachment. Both bedrooms fit a double bed, or two singles and one bedroom has beautiful, uninterrupted lake views. To the rear of the property is a back porch, which is great for storage.

Carrie’s Cottage really holds so many popular elements that are sought after by people looking for a property in Connemara-an opportunity not to be missed!
