Northern Ireland property company providing listings to Google Maps.

PropertyPal.com, Northern Ireland property portal have announced today that they have started providing property search data in Northern Ireland to showcase properties listed on Google Maps (maps.google.co.uk)

The Property Search feature on Google Maps, which Google launched today in the UK, offers an additional, improved search experience from within Google’s innovative map product.

The move follows closely in the footsteps of counterparts in the UK, with the company providing regularly updated data for the Northern Ireland region to the internet search giant. This recent development has now meant they now have almost 98% coverage of properties, combined with data from England, Scotland & Wales and brings a number of benefits and advantages to the portal over its rivals.

It is expected the announcement will have a number of positive effects for both estate agents and users of the site including an obvious boost in relevant traffic from Google Maps, and an additional search experience.

Within Google’s own map search services, property searchers in Northern Ireland would then be directed to PropertyPal.com in order to view further property details, providing agents with additional traffic and leads. The facility would be entirely free for agents.

Speaking on behalf of the company, managing director Errol Maxwell comments,

“Google’s mapping technology has already proved itself in the marketplace, and we have used embedded positional maps from them in our own website for some time. This announcement further underlines our commitment to providing users with a superior user experience and multiple innovative ways to search for property online”.
