"Glenavna" was a beautiful old and very large victorian house. It then spent many years as a most prestigous hotel, really famous for weddings and important functions, particularly conferences. One of the main reasons for this was the absoultely beautiful setting on an elevated site amidst beautiful woodland, in a lovely quiet area, and next door to a primary school.
Today these assets still exist for the new rol as happy homes for many lucky people. In spite of the privacy and seclusion of the site, it is just one hundred yards from the main road from Whiteabbey to Belfast and literally only five minutes drive to the city centre via the M5.
For commuters, ten minutes walk to Jordanstown Halt on the NIR line to Belfast westwards, Carrickfergus and Larne eastwards, a few minutes longer to Whiteabbey Halt.
The village of Whiteabbey is literally less than five minutes walk away has a good supply of typical village shops, and of course the village pub.
Belfast Lough, looking southwards to County Down, makes a very pleasant aspect with plenty of walks and lough side parks around,
Glenavna will be the first choice for obvious reasons for many people.
An excellent choice of spacious apartments and particularly generously sized townhouses, with up to four bedrooms.
